PSD Light Salavge Workshop

Twenty-one Georgia PSD team members from Lowndes County Sheriff Office, Jeff Davis Fire Department, Coffee County Fire Department and Milan Fire Department recently participated in a Public Safety Workshop hosted by Waterdog Scuba of Hazlehurst, GA. All members of the dive teams got the opportunity to dive with the latest model Oceanreef mask and communications.
These dive teams were recently conducting operation on a high profile dive recovery in South Georgia that lasted for 17 days. Teams train quarterly as a M. A. D. Team (Multi Agency Dive Team). With each team using the same type gear it is easy for team to switch teams member during a dive operation.
