Summer Time Update
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s been a while since our last post, but we have not been idling by this summer. A lot has been happening at the Dive Shop. Adding 3 new instructors, Public Safety Training with ERDi, and the addition of nitrox are just tips of the iceberg with all that has been going on.
Good Diver Masters are worth their weight in GOLD
Posted by: | CommentsWe just got in from our latest confined water class and I wanted commit on my 2 Dive Masters (DM). Most DM’s work without much fan fare and recognition. I would like to take the time and let everyone know that I have the privilege to work with 2 of the best. Regina and Chad are super. They both make teaching super smooth. Our class had 11 students in it and every student received personal attention. They never missed a beat. If one student had a problem one or both of them saw the problem and fixed it with only a small look from me. They both seem to know when to step in and when to step back. Never did they once get in the way but often they took the initiative and helped out.

Waterdog Scuba at JDMS Job Fair
Posted by: | CommentsWaterdog Scuba participated in Jeff Davis Middle School’s Job Fair on April 18th. JDMS students asked many questions about the different jobs available for those interested in scuba diving…dive instructors…comercial divers…golfball divers…military divers…commercial fishermen…underwater photographer… They also thought it was “cool” to try-on the BCD’s. Over 400 students asked questions and received a fin key chain and candy.
